LG which is known to have a strong collaboration with Google, creating Nexus devices, is once again chosen and became the first partner to have Android Wear launch with their upcoming smartwatch, called G Watch. Android Wear is the modified version of Android operating system specially created for smartwatches and other wearable devices. This will allow users to get notified including updates and alerts from their apps and text messages with the use of voice commands. The G Watch is expected to come next quarter depending on the market at a competitive price but it may be hard as Motorola also unveils their own smartwatch Moto 360, which also runs the platform, catches more attention because of its unique design, which looks like the true design of classic timepieces and its expected to come this summer. Other manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, and Asus also joins in, as Sony decided to stick with their own platform.
