Lumia 635 coming to Sprint, Boost, and Virgin Mobile

The first Lumia Windows phone is about to come to Sprint along with its prepaid brands, Boost and Virgin Mobile. The Lumia 635 will be the latest addition to current Windows phone Sprint was offering, the Samsung ATIV S Neo and HTC 8XT. This is after Microsoft and Sprint announcement of their partnership, which consumers who wants to try out something new other than iOS and Android. It will be available first through online purchase at no contract with Boost and Virgin Mobile by December 23 and can be bought through retail stores by January 9 next year. It will be sold for $99.99 (excluding taxes) and available in Cyan color from Boost and white from Virgin Mobile. HTC Launches Desire 620

The phones you desire from HTC now comes with a new mid-range phone which targets budget conscious selfie lovers - the HTC Desire 620, which takes on Samsung's Galaxy Grand Prime. This is a successor to the Desire 610 but with larger screen of 5 inches, higher resolution of 294 ppi, and better front-facing camera of 5 MP, compared to its little brother's 2 MP. HTC had been trending recently for making smartphones, which front camera has higher megapixels than the usual 2 MP even on flagship phones. Samsung and Sony to Offer Fewer Smartphones

Samsung may be the biggest smartphone maker, but it has the biggest market share lost, according to recent report by Strategy Analytics and IDC data. While Sony aims to be part of the top five smartphone maker in the world, its seems to be far away as other manufacturer's have increases its share. ASUS Unveils Zenfone 5 Lite

You may have heard of the LTE version of the Zenfone 5 by ASUS, which became one of the best budget phone, but not the LITE version yet. Yes, you've heard it right! ASUS recently launched a lighter version of the Zenfone 5, which takes on Xiaomi's Redmi 1S. © ASUS Philippines Facebook Page The phone has a model number of A502CG and called the Zenfone 5 Lite, which has a 5" IPS display with 540 X 960 qHD pixels and 220 ppi pixel density, which is lower than its older brother's 720 X 1280 HD pixel and 294 ppi pixel density. Microsoft Rebranded Nokia Starting with Lumia 535

Microsoft, the leader in software, completed the acquisition of Nokia handset division last April for $7.2 billion. They will now replace the Nokia brand with Microsoft. It is not a surprise since Nokia is known as the only mobile brand which focuses on running the Windows operating system. Microsoft just recently announced the first smartphone that carry its name instead of Nokia, the Lumia 535. The phone has a 5 inch display which has a pixel density of 220 ppi and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This is also powered by quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor running on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim which has extra features. Unified EULA keeps popping out after the Kitkat update on LG G2

Common Concern Statement: Ever since I upgraded from Jelly Bean 4.2.2 to KitKat 4.4.2 on my LG G2, whenever I reboot the phone the LG EULA for their apps pops up in my notification bar.  I've read and agreed to the terms already and I want this to stop popping up.  I've already reformatted my phone (for this and others issues after the "upgrade").  Does anyone know what's going on, how to stop this, or if there is any hint this is being looked into? The specs are not detailed but it will be even good for the Life’s good fans as well as with any other manufacturers to have more platform choices to suit their lifestyle.

LG G Pad now on 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1

© LG   If the G Pad 8.3 is too big for you, there is nothing to worry about enjoying it at smaller screen as LG expands its G Pad family to 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1. The style of rounded corners and curved tops looks like the same as the first G Pad. Although the spec details are not yet rolled out, LG says that it will include some of its unique features, like the latest Knock Code for greater privacy. As the size differs, expect also difference with other specs and features but at least we can enjoy it at the size and price that fits our style and budget.

Blackberry breaks up with T-Mobile

T-mobile previously decided to stop selling Blackberry devices in its retail stores last year. Now, it rolled out promotion since February for its current Blackberry users to switch to the latest iPhone 5S. Its no surprise that this causes Blackberry to break up with the Magenta network this 25th of April. © Yahoo News Though two companies had a good and strong relationship within the past few years, “strategies are not complimentary at this time”, according to the CEO of Blackberry, John Chen. However, Blackberry  will continue supporting the network’s customer who are using Blackberry devices as well as with other carriers and working with the biggest names in the wireless industry for anyone who want to switch providers and continue using their Blackberry handsets.

LG Rolled Out Kitkat Update

LG started to roll out the update for the most recent version of Android operating system, Kitkat 4.4 in some of its devices including the international G2. The firmware update has been released since December last year started with Korean versions. This year, it had been recently delivered for the customers of the US top carriers including AT&T and T-Mobile. Other devices includes Optimus G which is confirmed to get the update this summer while the G Pro had already started and targeted its homeland, South Korea since March. It has also been rolled out on the G Flex, G Pad and Vu3. The OS upgrade is available now available for download over the air. This will improve the device's user interface, performance, battery life, security and enhanced features including the KnockOn. LG G Watch and Moto 360 to Run Android Wear

LG which is known to have a strong collaboration with Google, creating Nexus devices, is once again chosen and became the first partner to have Android Wear launch with their upcoming smartwatch, called G Watch. Android Wear is the modified version of Android operating system specially created for smartwatches and other wearable devices. This will allow users to get notified including updates and alerts from their apps and text messages with the use of voice commands. The G Watch is expected to come next quarter depending on the market at a competitive price but it may be hard as Motorola also unveils their own smartwatch Moto 360, which also runs the platform, catches more attention because of its unique design, which looks like the true design of classic timepieces and its expected to come this summer. Other manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, and Asus also joins in, as Sony decided to stick with their own platform.

Nokia launches its first Android handsets

Nokia , one of the top wireless device manufacturers in the world, is known for making Symbian, Java and Windows OS based handsets. But now, it finally announced its series of first ever Android based phones - The Nokia X, X+ and XL. © Examiner The X and X+ comes with 4" IPS LCD capacitive touch screen and 3 MP camera while the XL have 5" display with 5 MP camera. All have the same 1GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and 4 GB of internal memory which can be extended up to 32 GB. However, the X only has 512 MB RAM while the other two, X+ and XL have 768 MB RAM. As expected, these phone doesn't have the Google Services installed but you can still enjoy some of your favorite apps and games that can be downloaded from the Nokia app store.
