Unified EULA keeps popping out after the Kitkat update on LG G2
Common Concern Statement:
Ever since I upgraded from Jelly Bean 4.2.2 to KitKat 4.4.2 on my LG G2, whenever I reboot the phone the LG EULA for their apps pops up in my notification bar. I've read and agreed to the terms already and I want this to stop popping up. I've already reformatted my phone (for this and others issues after the "upgrade"). Does anyone know what's going on, how to stop this, or if there is any hint this is being looked into?

You're probably one of the people who started to have problems with their phone since the software updated to Kitkat, which is the latest version of Android. I understand how annoying it is to see something keeps popping out on the notification bar of your phone. Some may already did the factory reset and gone through phone replacement, which is really a hassle sending your phone in and just to have the same problem.
There is nothing to worry about because there are just some simple steps how to get rid of Unified EULA (specifically for LG G2)
EULA stands for End User License Agreement. To remove the notification please do the following:
1. Pull down the notification bar and tap on the Check Mark
2. Tap on “End User License Agreement” and put a check next to “I understand and Agree to this” .
3. Do the same for Privacy Policy as well
4. After the Two have been selected Press “Accept” at the Bottom
After the customer does this. The notification will not appear again unless a factory reset is done
*If the EULA notification is no longer in the notification window go to
Setting > About phone > Legal Information > LG Apps Rights Agreement
Source: LG
What if I decline the rights agreement and don't use the LG apps Quick Remote/VuTalk/VoiceMate)? The notification will come back within a few hours.
ReplyDeleteI have clicked decline dozens of times yet the problem of the EULA continues. Can't I just be instructed on to to decline all EULA from here forward.
ReplyDeleteCan we "force stop" the app without any issues?
ReplyDeleteEven though we forced stop these apps or decline the EULA, it will still continue. That's why we need to accept it together with privacy policy as what shown above.
ReplyDeleteYou're a great help "Support". What part of "Decline" do you not understand? I do not want to accept anything and want your annoying notices to cease. Why are you giving an option to decline or accept and then say the only way to make it stop is to accept. That's some fine grammar you employ. What part of India are you from?
ReplyDeletehow do you find eula if it is not popped up? it is not in my pull down notification bar it just appears about once an hour
ReplyDeleteI am not able to agree as it crashes when I open either to place a check in the box. I am not able to access my Android dialer nor my contacts. I have done both soft and hard resets with same issue. I even set up my phone with a new gmail address thinking that it was linked to a Google account issue. Nope, same issue. Any suggestions besides buy a new phone?
ReplyDeleteSame here, did you ever get it resolved?
